The emphasis at Chalet des Alpes is on freshly cooked home-made food and hearty portions. The menus comprise a mixture of traditional British and International cuisine. Where possible we buy local and organic produce. We aim to provide a healthy, varied menu to suit all tastes and cater for all appetites. Meat is cooked on a griddle, the soups and sauces are home-made where possible, vegetables are steamed and some of the desserts are also home-made. If you have any specific dietary requirements please mention this at the time of booking. We are happy for you to bring your own special food (gluten-free and diabetic products are very hard to obtain in Switzerland).
