Bed & Breakfast
Bed & Breakfast is available most of the year. This may not be possible during the peak weeks or when major events are being staged but even then we will release any empty rooms for Bed & Breakfast reservations.
Start the day with a hearty buffet breakfast in our panoramic dining area, overlooking the mountains and Rhône Valley. Breakfast includes: Croissants, bread, jam, cheese, ham, yoghurts, fresh fruit, fruit juice, coffee and a selection of teas.
Evening meals are available most nights. All meals must be pre-ordered from our Summer or Winter menus, as appropriate.
Bed & Breakfast prices range from CHF 100 to CHF 250 per room per night for 1 (no reduction for single rooms) or 2 people sharing. We do have 2 extra "guest beds" suitable for children that can be put into the rooms. Please note the rooms were designed for 2 people so the third bed makes it "cosy"! Prices vary according to availability, time of year and local events. Prices can change at short notice and all payments can be made with a credit card. Skiing
Chalet des Alpes is a 10 minute drive from the Cry d'Er ski lift in Crans Montana. The resort has 160 km of pistes to suit all abilities. We can help organise lift passes, ski guiding or ski lessons. Return back to the chalet in the afternoon to have home-made cake and coffee in front of our open fire. Evening meals will be available most nights.
Golf
Some of the most scenic golf courses in the world can be found in Valais. Crans Montana hosts the Omega European Masters in September when some of the top golfers come to play. At least 6 golf courses are within 1 hour from our chalet. Discounts on Green Fees with the Crans Montana Golf clubs are available. We can supply all the contact details but we suggest that guests personally contact each club to check on prices, rules and regulations.
Walking and Mountain Biking
From our chalet door you will find amazing walking paths and mountain bike trails. You can leave the car in our car park for the duration of your stay and walk for days from our door without travelling on the same paths twice. The lifts of Crans Montana are open during the summer and winter (winter walking on specially prepared paths is very popular here) and depending of the time of year you can reach the Plaine Mort Glacier at 3000 meters. We have maps, information folders and plenty of suggestions for walkers of all abilities. We are both keen walkers ourselves and can offer first-hand advice.
